Shirley Kay Van Dell was born in Salem Oregon in 1949 to Mose and Donna Van Dell. She was the youngest of two children.
She, later went on to marry having two son's Bryan and Mark Graves. Unfortunately she was preceded in death by, her brother Bob Van Dell and youngest son, Mark.
She loved spending plenty of time making the inside and outside of her home beautiful, magical rather. Her candy dish was always full. She enjoyed going to antique shows and local estate sales, as she collected antiques. She loved shopping, no matter what kind. She never forgot a holiday making a big to do, creating festive baskets and gifts, making sure no one felt left out. She worked for Salem Keizer School district, for over 30 years. Most of those years being spent at Douglas McKay high School, where she is fondly remembered by multiple generations of Royal Scotsman as the "attendance lady".
At the time of her passing in late June of 2025, she is survived by her eldest son Bryan, grandchildren, TaTiana and Andrew Medina-Graves and three great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
We love you Grandma.
