SALEM - Bob was born in Smithland, Iowa. The family moved to Scotts Mills, Oregon in 1939. There were 5 brothers & 5 sisters. Bob married Charlotte in 1948 and they had 3 sons, Thomas, Alan & Bruce. Bob and Charlotte have 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Bob and Charlotte lived in Coos Bay where Bob worked in the Post Office for over 14 years. After the Post Office Bob & Charlotte were owner/operators of a Dairy Queen Restaurant.
At Bob's request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Restlawn Funeral Home.
