BEND - Avid sports fan and U of O supporter, Bob Crawley of Bend, passed away suddenly while visiting family and friends in Salem. He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Sohn); mother, Naomi; father, A. Don and wife, Connie; sister, April; brothers-in-law, Tim and Tom Sohn; and many nieces and nephews. Bob loved golf, traveling with Tammy, blogging with other E-Duckers, and cuddling with the family pets. Those who knew Bob often described him as "bigger than life," with a booming voice and ready smile. A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on August 17 at Emerald Baptist, 631 E 19th St., Eugene. Donations in memory of Bob can be made to the Duck Athletic Scholarship Fund, 2727 Leo Harris Parkway, Eugene OR 97401.
