Nathan Mikhlin

July 13, 1979 — December 17, 2024

On December 17, 2024, Nate Mikhlin, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, left this world far too soon.

Nate was born on July 13th, 1979 to Yuri and Alla Mikhlin in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up in Minnetonka, Went to Kansas for school before moving to Oregon in 2006.

A die hard Minnesota fan (both Vikings and Twins), Nate could talk about his quirks he had around his fandom - maybe he knew everything about when the Twins won the world series in 1987 and/or 1991, stuff like that. Sports wasn't his only love though. Nate was a music connoisseur through and through. He didn't hesitate to seize the opportunity to attend a concert, especially if it was Jerry Joseph or the Grateful Dead. His passion for music and sports was vast and he loved sharing that with people.

Nate had a smile that would light up a room and his sense of humor would have those around him laughing hysterically. He could make a friend no matter where he was and that's likely the quality that made him so successful in the car business. He was the type of person you could trust and be yourself around without judgment.

Nate had his struggles. There were ups and downs, and Nate was not one to intentionally burden others with his problems, but he never hesitated to offer a hand up to another person. No matter what you were going through, you could count on Nate. He loved unconditionally and, in return, was and always will be loved the same.

Nate is survived by his parents, Yuri and Alla and his sisters, Luba Mikhlin, Brother-in-law Alan Jacobs and Niece, Hannah Jacobs.

Services will be held at Waverly Memorial Cemetery in Albany, OR on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. and the family will sit shiva immediately following. All are welcome to attend the cemetery service and/or the no-host reception at Magnolia on the Green at the Salem Golf Course afterward; that's what Nate would want.
