Mildred L. Hemmer

Mildred Hemmer, 90, of Salem died Tuesday. She was born in East St. Louis, Illinois. She married Laverne A. Hemmer in 1937, and moved to Salem in 1953. Mildred was preceded in her death by her husband and sons Stanley R. and Gerald L., Grandson Kurt G., and Great Granddaughter Tate A. Branstetter of Salem. Survivors include sons Ronald and Albert and daughter Janet Brockelman of Salem, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Mildred was active in the Lutheran Church, a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed. A private memorial service will be held.
