Mathilda "Tillie" S. Kirsch

Salem - Salem, Oregon 1936 - 2026.Mathilda S. Kirsch, 89, of Salem Oregon passed away peacefully in the presence of family. She was born in El Monte, California to George and Elsie Van. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. She was a very organized, scholarly student which led her into a career of bookkeeping and secretarial work. She worked at Bekins Storage and Moving a majority of her career. Later she worked at Oregon State Police in the Training Unit and lastly at Eckley and Associates in secretarial work. She was married to Paul H. Kirsch, who preceded her in death in 2021. Together they had two children, a daughter and a son. Tillie is survived by her children, grandchildren and a great grandchild. She had a Graveside Service at Restlawn Memory and Gardens with immediate family. The service was led by her sister, Susan Dohn. A ceremony of life luncheon buffet was held at her home in her honor.
