Marlene June Lua passed away on January 28, 2025, in Salem, Oregon, at the age of 71. She was born on June 19, 1953, in La Grande, Oregon, to Albert Marvin True and Margaret June True.

Marlene is survived by her loving husband, Abraham; her children Shawn, Melissa, Rebecca, Miguel, Shelisa, and Josiah; her brother Marvin True and sister Nancy Herrera; as well as 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Though she held an associate degree in counseling, Marlene dedicated much of her professional life to the banking industry before retiring from Wells Fargo in 2016. In retirement, she found joy in spending time with her family and friends.

Marlene had a passion for camping and was an avid collector of dolls, dolphins, and state bells. Her heart was beyond measure in the love she showed to all her animals. She had a special talent for decorating during the holidays, creating warm and festive spaces that brought joy to those around her.

To those who knew her, Marlene was the rock of her family-a guiding star whose love and wisdom illuminated every path. Her unwavering presence through life's challenges and triumphs was a source of strength and comfort. Known for embracing everyone with open arms and a radiant warmth, Marlene left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Marlene was Honored with a celebration of life on February 21st, 2025. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those who carry her spirit forward. Rest in Paradise Mom, Loved Always and Forever!
