Marian Thomas

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marian Graves Thomas, 84, from complications of Alzheimer's. She was a beloved mother of three boys and grandmother of two. She was known for her kind heart, sense of humor. Marion was born in El Cajon, California on February 10th, 1940. She is survived by her son Mark Anderson, brother Marcus graves, sisters Kathleen Turner and Chandra Bumpas, and grandchildren Ashley Shetty and Jeffrey Anderson. Marion grew up in Wishkah Washington and graduated from Wishkah Valley High School in 1959. She was active in sports, music and cheerleading. Her main passion in life was reading. She also loved art, music, museums, coffee, the Trailblazers and traveling. She retired from Wise kadish law firm in Portland, Oregon, where she worked as a paralegal and office manager. She was preceded in death by her parents Festus Litchfield Graves and Agnes Juanita Graves, sister Vera and two of her 3 sons, Brian Lee Anderson, and Matthew Eugene Anderson.
