Maria Elena was a woman of great warmth and compassion, whose selflessness and caring nature were evident in every aspect of her life. Her home was a sanctuary of love and comfort, where family and friends were always welcome. She had a unique way of expressing her love, often through the meals she lovingly prepared for those she held dear. Maria Elena was predeceased by her beloved son, Ismael Vargas, and her memory will be lovingly carried forward by her surviving children: Salvador, Alejandro, Abram, Saul, Esmeralda, and Cecilia Cisneros. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to her 15 grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
A visitation of Maria Elena will be held on July 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Keizer Funeral Chapel, located at 4365 River Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the love and kindness she shared so generously throughout her life.
