Leslie Sue Broeke

Leslie Sue Broeke of Salem, Oregon passed away on October 31st, 2025, in Salem at the age of 61.

She was born on October 2nd, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia to William Lyle Sr. and Betty (Novak) Lyle. She was the third of six children.

Leslie loved to draw pencil drawings, she also loved to paint. The enjoyed camping with her family and holidays when everyone got together.

She married the love of her life, Brit Broeke, on August 5th, 1985, in Beloit, KS. After getting married they moved to Oregon 39 years ago to be with Brit's family. Brit and Leslie welcomed four children, Chandra, Heath, Trevor, and Travis. Leslie has three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is survived by her husband Brit Broeke, children Chandra Broeke, Heath Broeke, Trevor Broeke, and Travis Broeke, grandchildren Gavin Broeke, Gabriel Broeke, and Keonnie Tison. Great grandchild Tayah Tison. Her sisters Lou Ann Conner, Lois Hanel (Greg), William Lyle Jr. (Gaylene) and Laura Lyle from Kansas along with many friends. She was preceded in death by her father William Lyle Sr. and brother Wade Lyle.

Leslie is finally out of pain and at peace. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
