John Calvin Lang

John Lang entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord in the family home on October 4, 2026 with his wife Pat and daughter Laura by his side.

John was born on June 17, 1939 to Carl and Esther Lang. The family lived on a small dairy farm near Arlington, Washington. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1958 where he was active in FFA showing cows at the fair.

He married Patricia Kroeze on May 18, 1961. They had 65 wonderful years together. Their two children Rick and Laura were born in Arlington. John was a dairy farmer from 1956 to 1977 in Arlington and later Lynden, Washington. In 1977 they sold the cows and dairy and purchased a grass seed, grain and hay farm near Monmouth, Oregon where they still reside. They sold the farm in 2008.He devoted his time to restoring and showing antique tractors until last year. John was a member of the Salem Gospel Hall.

John is survived by his wife Pat, son Rick of Monmouth, daughter Laura (Andy) Mulholland of Gaston; also his brother Marvin (Susan) Lang of Arlington, Washington and nephews Michael, Tim, Andy and John Lang. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Travis Hince.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on October 14, 2026 at Restlawn Funeral Home.
