Jesse Kyd Prefontaine

Jesse Kyd Prefontaine suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on July 12, 2025.

Jesse was a kind, adventurous soul. Always willing to help-especially if you didn't think you needed help. He laughed loudly and loved fiercely. He was generous to a fault and stubborn as the Taurus he was, but was always a big Kyd at heart. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, his uncle and aunt, many cousins, his long-time love, and many beloved family and friends.

(And for those that keep asking, yes, he was related to Steve Prefontaine, the Olympic runner from U of O; they were cousins by blood on his dad's side.)
