James Nicholas Olson

James N. Olson, 78, passed away June 3, 2026 at the Silver Creek Senior Living facility in Woodburn, Oregon. He was born October 11, 1947 in Great Falls, Montana.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sr. and Helen Olson.

Jim is survived by his two brothers, Paul Olson and wife Wilma, and Jan Olson and wife Kate and his half sister, Joann Payne as well as nieces Katrina Osborne and Nellwyn Olson and nephew Brian Olson as well as several grand nieces and grand nephews.

The Olson family left Montana and moved to Colorado in the early 1950s. In 1957 Jim and the rest of the family moved to California where they lived for just a few months. In late 1957 the family moved north to Lakewood, Washington which became home for many years.

Jim graduated from Lakes High School, located in Lakewood, Washington, in 1966. He was in the US Army after high school for a short time.

Jim was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
