Fredric David Padgett
Fredric David Padgett (aka Dave), age 75, passed away on October 1st, 2024 in Salem, Oregon. He was born on February 2nd, 1949, in Polar Bluff, MO to Thomas Burl "Burl" Padgett and Barbara (Robinson) Padgett.
He Spent his later school years living in Fairbanks, AK and during the 1970s he spent several years working on the Alaska Pipeline. Although his life's occupation was in auto body repair, Fredric led a fulfilling life marked by love and his love for singing country and western songs, often sharing his musical talent with others through live performances and karaoke.
He is survived by his loving children, Michael (Elizabeth) Padgett, of Flint Michigan. Michelle (Michael) Fuwell of Houghton Lake, Michigan, and James Padgett of Michigan. Fredric was the proud grandfather to Josh (Kayla) Padgett of Fenton, Michigan, Ashley Maupin of Michigan, Miller (Katie) Padgett of Durand, Michigan, and Logan Padgett of Michigan. He was also blessed with ten great grandchildren who brought him immense joy. His sisters, Linda (Connel) Shelton of Katy, Texas, Deborah Macomber of Sun City, Arizona, and Marion (Joe) McNeill of Grove, Oklahoma, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews will fondly remember his vibrant spirit.
Fredric was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Barbara Padgett of Sun City, Arizona, and his brothers Robert T. Padgett of Conway, Arkansas, and Walter L. Padgett of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Fredric's life was enriched by his passion for music and will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all his loved ones through the melodies he shared.
