Emily Anne Pollock Bannister

Emily Anne Pollock Bannister, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025 in Salem, Oregon.

Emily entered this world on July 12, 1948 in Salem, Massachusetts to Edmund & Emily (Gillis) Pollock. She grew up in West Covina, California most of her life and was Catholic.

Emily worked for the State of Oregon as an Auditor. When she was not working, Emily loved to garden and spend time with her children, grandchildren, and her friends.

It was said without a doubt that she had a servant heart and always wanted to help anyone with a selfless attitude. Emily's family remembers her as one who was loving and compassionate. She was funny to be around. Emily loved taking trips to the coast. Her family remembers when they would go on beach trips growing up. Those who knew Emily will forever remember the warmth of her love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Bryan Bannister (Amber), Kevin Bannister (Sarah), and Katie Mennealy (Tim); her grandchildren, Anthony (Sonia), Justin, Wyatt, Joseph, Ayven, Molly, Riley, Elijah (Allison), Owen, and Emma; and her great-grandchildren, Alex, Sophia, and David.

She will truly be missed.
