Born in Mackay, Queensland, Australia
Son of Edward Vincent Condon and Edna Mary Condon (née Atherton)
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Myles Condon-a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Denis is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Diane Condon; his children Heidi Zuk (Timothy Zuk), Jason Condon, Natasha Rhodes, and Corinna Condon; and his nine cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Maureen Orrock and Marie O'Donoghue (Neive O'Donoghue) of Australia, along with their families.
From an early age, Denis showed a keen intellect and a love of learning-particularly excelling in mathematics and physics. In 1970, he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Queensland Institute of Technology, marking the beginning of a 47-year global career. His work took him and his family across Australia, Germany, Canada, and the United States, enriching their lives with a world of experiences.
A man of many passions, Denis found joy in traveling, woodworking, and reading. His craftsmanship produced beautiful, lasting pieces that now grace the homes of loved ones. He was a lifelong learner, a curious mind, and an active member of the Institution of Engineers, attending professional development events whenever he could.
Known for his quick wit, intelligence, humor, and deep dedication to family, Denis's presence was a source of strength and warmth. His legacy of love, wisdom, and resilience will live on in all who knew him.
We will miss him deeply, love him always, and carry him in our hearts forever.
