In Loving Memory of David Cervantes

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Cervantes, who left this world on May 20, 2026, at the age of 31.

David was born in Silverton, Oregon, on March 20, 1995, to his loving parents, Juan Cervantes Ochoa and Maria Cristina Cervantes, both originally from Mexico. He was raised in Salem, Oregon, where he built lifelong friendships and memories with those who knew and loved him.

David attended North Salem High School and was known for his loving heart, protective nature, and deep love for his family. He had a way of making people feel cared for and supported, and he always tried to be there for the people he loved. His presence, laughter, and heart will never be forgotten.

He was the third of five siblings and shared a special bond with his brothers and sister. David loved his family deeply, especially his nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly and will miss him tremendously. He was an amazing uncle who brought joy, laughter, and love into their lives, and the bond they shared with him will always be cherished.

David's passing leaves an unimaginable pain in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he gave us and the love he shared will live on forever.

He is survived by his parents, Juan Cervantes Ochoa and Maria Cristina Cervantes; his four siblings; extended family; and many friends who loved him dearly.
