Dana Kelley Steelman passed away peacefully at home September 12th from cancer.
Born in Martinez, CA, Dana moved to Salem with his family when he was 6 years old.
Dana was a longtime musician in several local bands around the area, including Amarillo and West Coast Wanted. He played several instruments including guitar, fiddle and dobro. Dana was also an accomplished artist and a wonderful landscaper.
Dana is survived by his wife Marcia (Wood) Steelman, daughters Kelley S. Lawson and Francie Boeder, son William T. Steelman, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his sister Ruby Phillips.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow at Restlawn Funeral Home.
