It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Crystal Barocio-Cervantes, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world on October 19, 2025, in her cherished hometown of Salem, Oregon. Crystal was born on October 12, 1991, in Salem, where she lived her life filled with love, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.

Crystal graduated from McKay High School, where she first showcased her artistic talents and passion for crafts. This creativity blossomed into a lifelong hobby, as she found joy in arts and crafts, refurbishing furniture, and making each holiday special with her imaginative spirit. She was known for her ability to make every craft there was to make, and her artistic talents brought joy not only to her home but also to the hearts of those around her.

As a mother to her four beautiful children, Anthony, Adrean, Sophia, and Esmeralda, Crystal exemplified the true meaning of unconditional love. She poured her heart and soul into her children, nurturing their dreams while teaching them the importance of kindness, bravery, and strength. Her love knew no bounds, and her legacy will forever live on in the lives of her children.

Crystal leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her devoted mother, Maria De Los Angeles Cervantes-Sanchez, her father Adan Barocio, and her sister Julie and her brothers, Eric and Miguel, who looked up to her as a pillar of strength and courage.

Throughout her life, Crystal demonstrated an incredible capacity for caring and giving. She was known for her willingness to help both animals and people, reflecting her compassionate nature and her desire to make the world a better place. Her bravery and strength were evident in all aspects of her life; she approached challenges with no fear, always seeking the beauty in every situation.

A visitation will be held at Restlawn Funeral Home on November 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM and the celebration of Crystal's remarkable life will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church on November 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their love and memories of this remarkable woman who touched so many lives.

In these moments of sorrow, we remember Crystal for her happy spirit, her love of conversation, and her ability to see beauty in all things. She was a true light in our lives, and we will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Crystal Barocio-Cervantes, querida madre, hija, hermana y amiga, quien partió de este mundo el 19 de octubre de 2025 en su amada ciudad natal de Salem, Oregón. Crystal nació el 12 de octubre de 1991 en Salem, donde vivió una vida plena de amor, creatividad y un compromiso inquebrantable con su familia y su comunidad.

Crystal se graduó de la preparatoria McKay, donde demostró por primera vez su talento artístico y su pasión por las manualidades. Esta creatividad se convirtió en un pasatiempo que la acompañó toda la vida, disfrutando del arte y las manualidades, restaurando muebles y haciendo de cada festividad algo especial con su espíritu imaginativo. Crystal deja atrás una familia amorosa que la extrañará profundamente. Le sobreviven su devota madre, María de los Ángeles Cervantes-Sánchez; su padre, Adán Barocio; su hermana, Julie; y sus hermanos, Eric y Miguel, quienes la admiraban como un ejemplo de fortaleza y valentía.

A lo largo de su vida, Crystal demostró una increíble capacidad para cuidar y dar. Era conocida por su disposición a ayudar tanto a animales como a personas, lo que reflejaba su naturaleza compasiva y su deseo de hacer del mundo un lugar mejor. El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Restlawn el 4 de noviembre de 2025 a las 11:00 a. m. y la misa en memoria de Crystal se celebrará en la Iglesia Católica San Vicente de Paúl el 5 de noviembre de 2025 a las 11:00 a. m. Familiares y amigos están invitados a reunirse para compartir el cariño y los recuerdos de esta mujer excepcional que marcó la vida de tantas personas.
