Corinne Mary Fay (Bibler) Zeigler, age 78, of Salem, Oregon, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2025. Born October 21, 1946, in Williston, North Dakota to Edson Lester Bibler and June Inga Bruun, Corinne lived a life filled with love, determination, and service to others.

In 1973, she met the love of her life, Andrew Charles "Charlie" Zeigler. Their romance began with a playful chase over a stolen hat, leading to their marriage on December 6, 1974. Together they raised two sons, Mike and Chris, sharing nearly 42 years of marriage until Charlie's passing in 2016.

Shaped by her early years on a farm, Corinne was known for her remarkable resilience and can-do spirit. She mastered numerous skills throughout her life, from gardening and cooking to home renovations and even goat midwifery. Her philosophy was simple: if something needed doing, she would find a way to do it, even if it was duct tape and zip ties.

Family was the cornerstone of Corinne's life. Beyond her biological family, she had a gift for creating lasting bonds with others, becoming "Grammy" to countless children over the years. Her generous heart and nurturing spirit touched many lives.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew Charles "Charlie" Zeigler; her parents; and siblings Lester, Howard, Delton, Trudy, and Curtis.

Corinne is survived by her sons Mike (Kandi) and Chris (Andi); grandchildren Ayla, Jonathan, Jessi, Sarah, Cali, Samantha and Phoebe; great-grandchildren Cora and Cylis; siblings Bruce, Bonnie, Cheryl, and Tammy; and numerous nieces and nephews, including her special niece Miranda Mathae Amstutz (Rex) and their son Mark.

She also leaves behind many cherished friends who became family: Naomi and Justin Lopez and their children William, Ellie, and Kaytlynn; Kevin Beck and child Cheyenne; Theresa Rhodes and child Tyler Rockwell; and Robert, Andi, and Heather Farris and child Ryder.

A graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home, 201 N. Oak Grove Rd., Salem, OR 97304, on Friday, May 2, 2025 @ 1pm.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Time and location TBA.
