Berniece Sturdivant

Sunday, December 2, 2018, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Bernice Aline Sturdivant, went to be with her Savior, and to be with her best friend and love, OE “Van” Sturdivant.  She was born in Paducah, Texas, March 4, 1921, to Louis E. White and Martha J., into a large farming family.  She met and married her sweetheart, OE, March 25, 1939, and they celebrated over 72 years together.  Nana is survived by one son, Stephen L. Sturdivant and his wife Carol, her 4-grandsons: Caleb, James, Andrew, Jon, and their wives, and her 12- great-grandchildren: Grace, Levi, Tyler, Kelsi, Evan, Luke, Joel, Lane, Elizabeth, Jordan, Micah, and Hannah.  Bernice lived to be 97-years old.
